Book Mule

It’s bad enough when you forget the milk but over the past few days I’ve been playing book-mule, hauling a box of sixty at a time on my back. I took this photo yesterday. The rainbow’s end was better than gold – a cup of tea and a decompressed back. If only I’d brought the milk.

I reached another landmark yesterday, too. 400 payments exactly. A huge thank you to everyone. All those honest people. It’s quite humbling.

And ‘they’ said I was mad… (Well, OK, maybe just a bit).

Principle proven, I am in the mood for another experiment. I can play it safe and build Dreamwords’ readership steadily over a number of years or take an enormous sink-or-swim risk.

Now, where’s that coin?

Another stunning moment on Arran then! Wish I was able to enjoy them more instead of having to go to work every day and miss them…… if you need Milk or anything give me a shout, will do my best to get to you, although it is days off dependant!

And don’t flip that coin just go for it. If it’s meant to be it will be, the journey so far has worked on take on sink or swim risks. What have you got to loose?

That would be pretty lazy of me. Then again, pizza delivery would be so cool (obviously!).

I never tire of the situation here. Even the challenge of cold and 18th century facilities are pre-conditioning to enjoy the simplest of pleasures when they come my way. We so often take for granted what we have but out here that is never the case.

I like your attitude – Go for it!

That is my default and why I deliberately pause after coming up with another cunning plan. If it stands the short wait, I will indeed go for it.

    Paul,
If I can get a long weekend arranged can I come over and sit at you feet?

      lol!

It would be good to see you, Bob – preferebly at my elbow. I’m sure I can lay my work aside for a day or two to go for a wander. I’m preparing another experiment, which will take place in Glasgow in a little over a week. This means that I’ll be on and off the island during that period, so make sure you let me know well in advance.
